Rex Weston - Bio

Rex Weston has been a career entrepreneur since the age of 18, starting companies spanning contracting, software, manufacturing, and Internet. He has designed and overseen the creation and launch of a dozen software products. First and foremost, Weston considers himself an entrepreneur, and secondarily a software designer.

Always leading start-ups and small companies, Weston has a wealth of experience in virtually every aspect of business. He brings a high degree of creativity, a can-do attitude, surprising problem solving skills, fearlessness, the good Midwestern work ethic, and a relentless determination to his projects. He is proud mostly though of his dedication to customer service, product design excellence, his treatment of employees, and the business ethics he brings to all aspects of his ventures.

Weston is a vocal advocate for entrepreneurship and has involved himself as a mentor / teacher / advisor with startups and early-stage companies. He is currently active with the Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

Since 1999 Weston has focused exclusively on both personal and business applications of HTML email templates for use in routine email correspondence. His company, StationeryCentral.com, Inc. (with its subsidiary, DigiTechBRANDING.com) is the leading provider of branded email templates (signatures and letterhead) to businesses large and small throughout the world.

His latest venture, Zuplo.com, launched in the fall of 2009, has been a ten year long labor of love. Designed around a collection of over 7000 artistic email stationery templates for personal email, exciting opportunities within Facebook appeared almost immediately upon launch, making Zuplo very much a work-in-progress.

Weston is a confident and capable public speaker. Past speaking topics have included the statistical analysis of healthcare data, Medicare fraud, software design & development, business ethics and entrepreneurship.

Taking ample time to balance his work, Weston stays happy and healthy through cooking (real food), Bikram Yoga, bicycling, the study of spirituality, long meditative walks in the solitude of nature, and of course close friends.
