The first engineers at Zuplo will need to take on various projects such as deep engineering challenges, managing infrastructure, and working directly with customers. Our stack is Node.js and TypeScript. We have built a custom runtime optimized for API Gateways, performance in serverless environments, and that is portable across several runtimes. We run our infrastructure on Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Cloudflare Workers. We ship code continuously using Github Actions.
The right person for this role will have a passion for learning and building new technology, handle ambiguity and rapidly moving projects, and ship and iterate rapidly. You don't need to have used or be an expert in the technology that we use - you must have a desire to learn.
This role is highly creative and will require you to understand our customer's needs, collaborate with the team, and efficiently build solutions. Your success will be measured by customer impact, not lines of code or bugs closed. We care more about passion than we do about your particular skill set.
Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don’t apply unless they meet all the job criteria. We aren’t looking for someone who ticks every single box on a page; we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences. If you think you’d be a great fit, then please get in touch to tell us about yourself.
